بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
The greatest Ni'ma of Allah for his Slave in this world is the Ni'ma of Al Islam.
As Allah says
وَ مَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَ الْاِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوْنَ
And I did not create Jinn and Mankind except to worship me.
This Ni'ma of Islam allows us to worship Allah as he commanded us to worship him and allows us to draw nearer to him, if we didn't have it we would be of those who Allah addressed
وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.
Look at how Allah has blessed you with this Deen, this Islam, this religion you take for granted.
Many of the muslims who are born into the religion, and even some reverts who have lost their way, they have become lax in the religion and take it as a joke.
Even when Allah says
وَ مَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ
And it is not a joke.
They forget that Islam is a Ni'ma in itself from Allah, and they think that is a religion for the boring, a religion of prohibitions and commands.
سبحان الله
And this mentality has created a lot of Fitnah today in our communities.
People forget the very Ni'ma of the oxygen they breathe is from Allah, and that while they sin, Allah could cut off their oxygen.
As Allah says
وَآتَاكُم مِّن كُلِّ مَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُ وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعْمَتَ اللّهِ لاَ تُحْصُوهَا إِنَّ الإِنسَانَ لَظَلُومٌ كَفَّارٌ
And He gives you of all you ask of Him. And if you count Allah's favours, you will not be able to number them. Surely man is very unjust, very ungrateful.
سبحان الله
Reflect, for the blessing of Islam, have you ever given Shukr to Allah? For oxygen? For a working body?
Contemplate, the many people who have no use in their legs or have a mental illness, do they not remind you of your Blessings?
Ya Ibn Adam! Allah has given you the Ni'ma of Islam without you asking, so you could act in order to earn the Jannah that you do ask for today.
So do what you must, and be grateful.
How many ungrateful souls lie regretful?
اللهم ثبت قلوبنا على دينك و اجعلنا من الاهل الجنة . امين يارب العالمين
