Oh you who believe, Repent to Allah a sincere repentance!

And Allah wishes to accept your repentance. Allah is encouraging us to repent and turn back to him! He doesn't want to punish us, As He says What would Allah do with your punishment? rather his Rahma and Maghfirah is waiting for us in the repentance we do! Allah does not accept repentance if it is not even present though! Except for whom he pleases for. We have no guarantee of this honour... So what stops you from turning back in repentance, remove it! And those who follow their desires with that you should deviate. Allah is encouraging us in this Ayah, explaining that only HE, Allah knows and wants the absolute best for you! While those around, such as bad friends and the rest of it, they only wish to increase you in disobedience! Allah wants you ease the burden for you. Obedience and Ibadah is hard to stay steadfast upon, Allah knows, but only with contentment and repentance can one feel inclined towards Allah and his obedience and worship! Thus he encourages us to repent so in order to lighten the burden of sins and hardship that weighs us down! Allah does not burden a soul except with what it can bear. And Allah finishes the Ayah And man was created weak. Allah created you and therefore He knows you and your desires! He knows you are a weak, so the doors of repentance are open to a slave, doors which are as wide as the west and the east, doors that only close upon death or upon the sun coming from the west! And Allah says in another Ayah Oh you who believe, Repent to Allah a sincere repentance! meaning, a true, firm repentance that erases the evil sins that preceded it and mend the shortcoming of the repenting person, encouraging and directing him to quit the evil that he used to do. What stops you repenting to the Lord of Mercy and Forgiveness?
