ALLAH [SWT] defended a blind man who came with nothing but a desire to learn.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) was speaking with the leaders of Quraysh, hoping they would accept Islam, when Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him), a blind man, came asking to be taught. The Prophet (peace be upon him) frowned and turned away.
Allah revealed: "He frowned and turned away, because the blind man came to him" (Abasa 80:1-2).
The sincere seeker is never small in Allah's sight.

Be patient with people who are still learning. Allah was patient with you long before you understood many things. That patience can become a means of mercy for you as well.
put your trust in Allah. Surely Allah loves those who trust in Him.
It is out of Allah’s mercy that you ˹O Prophet˺ have been lenient with them. Had you been cruel or hard-hearted, they would have certainly abandoned you. So pardon them, ask Allah’s forgiveness for them, and consult with them in ˹conducting˺ matters. Once you make a decision, put your trust in Allah. Surely Allah loves those who trust in Him. (Quran 3:159)
