Islam come to remove man's enslavement to his fellow man, and LIBERATE them to enslaement to ALLAH [SWT] alone.

When the early companions (may Allah be pleased with them) were asked one by one before the battle of Qadisiyyah, “For what purpose have you come?”, their answer was the same, “Allah[SWT] has sent us to bring anyone who wishes from servitude [enslavement] to men, into the service [enslavement] of Allah [SWT} alone.” Islam has always fought against oppression and enslavement of any kind.
