‪Search your own heart. Could it be that your suspicion of the ulterior motives of others is because you’re prone to doing the same? Increase the habit of praising others & let thankfulness overflow to the Almighty when someone does something good to you. Try it. You’ll feel good.

 

Like Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him), we must seek Allah's acceptance for every act of worship that we do for His sake.

Satan fears the prayer, don’t let him interfere in your Salah.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “When the call for the prayer is pronounced, Satan takes to his heels, passing wind with noise, When the call for the prayer is finished, he comes back. And when the Iqama is pronounced, he again takes to his heels, and after its completion, he returns to interfere between the (praying) person and his heart, saying to him. 'Remember this or that thing.' till the person forgets whether he has offered three or four rak`at: so if one forgets whether he has prayed three or four rak`at, he should perform two prostrations of Sahu (i.e. forgetfulness).” – Bukhari 3285

Surah Al-Fatihah

 بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ١

 ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ٢

 ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٣

 مَـٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ ٤

 إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ٥

 ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ ٦

 صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ٧

With the name of Allah, the All-Merciful, the Very-Merciful. Praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. the All-Merciful, the Very Merciful. the Master of the Day of Requital. You alone do we worship, and from You alone do we seek help. Take us on the straight path. the path of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not of those who have incurred Your wrath, nor of those who have gone astray.

 Learn to say no without explaining yourself. Set boundaries. Busy days and nights are ahead with Ramadan almost with us. And don’t do things just to please people. It doesn’t pay at all. Focus on your Creator.
